Ingredients: 1 lb hamburger (any fat percentage); 12 lb maple sausage; ½ cup unsweetened applesauce; 2 tablespoons steak sauce; ½ cup green pepper, diced; 1 onion, diced; 1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies; 1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce; 1 egg; ¾ cup 2% low-fat milk; 1 cup instant oats; 1 dash salt; 1 dash pepper; 1 tablespoon garlic powder; 6 slices bacon, cut in half; ½ cup ketchup

Servings: persons

1 lb hamburger (any fat percentage)
12 lb maple sausage
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
2 tablespoons steak sauce
½ cup green pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 egg
¾ cup 2% low-fat milk
1 cup instant oats
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
6 slices bacon, cut in half
½ cup ketchup

In a food processer, mix together all ingredients except the bacon and ketchup.

:Pulse mix about 9 or 10 pulses.

Remove from processer and place in muffin tins (3/4 full) or cake pan.

Put 1 slice of bacon on top of meat mixture.

Bake 25 minutes in a 375 degree oven.

Remove from oven and top with ketchup.

Place back in the oven to bake for an additional 15 minutes or until ketchup is hot and thick.
