Fancy Sugared Nuts

   Place nuts on a shallow pan.

   Heat in a 375u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.

   Stir often.

   Cook sugar, water, salt and cinnamon to soft ball stage (236u00b0 without stirring).

   Remove from heat and add vanilla and nuts.

   Stir slowly until nuts are covered and become creamy.

   Turn out onto a buttered platter.

   Separate nut halves as they cool.
