1 1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. paprika
1 bay leaf
3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
3 qt. Campbell's beef bouillon (9 cans)
1 1/2 lb. Lorraine Swiss cheese
French bread

Slice onions thin.

Melt butter in large pot.

Saute onions in butter for 1 1/2 hours over low heat.

Add remaining ingredients except bouillon.
