Put the sugar into a large mixing bowl or pan and pour the boiling water over the top.

The cordial will keep for 2-3 weeks in the refrigerator.

If you want the cordial to keep for up to twelve months then follow general canning principals to sterilize the cordial in the bottles, processing in a hot water bath for 20 minutes.
