2 eggs, beaten
1 cup eggnog, canned or fresh
2 Tablespoons Rum or 2 teaspoons rum exract
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup sour cream
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Glaze:
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
2 Tablespoons eggnog
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon rum or 1/2 tsp rum extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease bottom of a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl sift together dry ingredients.

In another bowl mix together the eggs, eggnog, rum, vanilla, sour cream, sugar, and melted butter.

Pour the eggnog mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just until combined.

Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake 45-50 minutes.

Let cool in pan for 5 minutes before removing bread to cool on wire rack. Add glaze while bread is still warm.

For glaze: Combine the melted butter, eggnog, powdered sugar and rum. Drizzle over warm bread and allow to cool completely.
