   In a 2-quart saucepan, stir together the sugar, corn syrup, water and salt.

   Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil.

   Reduce heat.

   Cook without stirring until temperature reaches 265u00b0 on a candy thermometer or until a small amount of syrup dropped into very cold water forms a ball that is hard enough to hold shape, yet plastic.
