Donut Balls With Tart Lemon Glaze

   Add a paper towel to a large plate and set aside. Tear each biscuit dough piece in half and roll into a ball.

   Add the canola oil to a small saucepan. Heat the saucepan on low to medium heat.

   After about 1 minute when the oil is hot, add 4 of the biscuit dough balls to the oil. They'll cook fast so watch them very closely and turn them with tongs as they cook so that all sides turn a light golden color. Once all sides turn a light golden color, remove them from the pan and on to the plate with the paper towel.

   Continue the process to cook the rest of them. If they start to get brown too quickly when added to the oil, turn the heat down just a bit. Be sure to keep a close eye on the oil so that it doesn't get too hot.

   Once all of the donut balls are done set them aside for a moment while making the glaze.

   Zest the lemon and add it to a small bowl. Add the juice from the lemon and powdered sugar to the bowl. Mix together until smooth.

   Put the donut balls on the serving plate and drizzle the lemon glaze over the top of each donut ball. Serve immediately while the donut balls are still warm.
