2 c. sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon grnd cloves
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 c. Wesson oil
1 c. buttermilk
3 Large eggs
1 c. strawberry preserves
1/2 c. minced nuts
