Delicious Oven Toast

   Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

   Coat a square baking dish with oil and completely cover the base with 4 slices of bread.

   Place on top 4 slices of ham, then the Asiago cheese slices, a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.

   Add the remaining 4 slices of ham and then top with the last 4 slices of bread.

   Beat the egg with a pinch of salt and spread all over the surface of the bread.

   Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

   Remove the pan from the oven, add the tomato sauce to cover the bread completely.

   Turn the oven broiler on high.

   Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese and broil for 3 to 5 minutes.
