1 c. elbow macaroni Or possibly
2 1/4 c. bow ties
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. minced onion
2 tbsp. flour
1 pound can stewed tomatoes
1/2 pound medium sharp cheese
1 teaspoon Accent
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr
1/2 teaspoon salt
Parmesan cheese
Progresso bread crumbs

Cook macaroni in boiling salted water till tender; drain and rinse.

Heat butter in saucepan; add in onion and cook till clear; blend in flour to make smooth paste.

Add in tomatoes and cook over low heat, stirring, till sauce is thickened.

Add in cheese; stir till melted; stir in Accent, seasonings and cooked macaroni.

Pour mix into 1 1/2 qt buttered casserole and bake in 350 degree oven for 15 min.

Remove from oven, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese; garnish with tomato slices if desired, and return to oven for 5 min more.
