Date Squares

   Cook dates with sugar, orange juice and red wine.

   Cook until softened.

   Add vanilla.

   Mix flour, rolled oats, butter, walnuts, coconut, salt, baking soda and vanilla pie mix.

   Press 1/2 mixture in 13 x 9-inch Pyrex dish.

   Pour date mixture on top.

   Cover with remaining flour mixture.

   Bake 30 minutes or until lightly browned, 400u00b0.
