Date Roll

   Boil sugars, milk and corn syrup until it forms a stiff ball when dropped in cold water. Remove from heat and add dates, vanilla,

   butter,

   cherries

   and

   nuts. Mix all ingredients well and form into roll. Chill before slicing to serve.
