1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. milk
2 1/4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
cherries
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped pecans
corn flakes

Cream the Crisco and sugar.

Add eggs and milk and blend. Sift together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt and add to mixture.

Add vanilla, dates and nuts.

Roll about 1 rounded teaspoonful of mixture into a ball, then roll in crushed corn flakes.
