Date Balls

   In a medium sized saucepan, combine margarine or butter, sugar and dates.

   Cook over medium-high heat until thickened, stirring constantly.

   Remove from heat and add pecans and rice cereal. Form into small balls.

   Roll balls in confectioners sugar. Yields about 8 dozen small balls.
