Danish Puff Coffee Cake

   Mix 1 stick oleo, 1 cup flour and 3 tablespoons cold water as for pie dough.

   Divide into 2 parts.

   Pat or roll in long strips on cookie sheet.

   Boil together for 1 minute the 1 cup water, 1 stick oleo and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

   Remove from heat and add 1 cup flour. Stir and add eggs, one at a time. Spread this mixture on top of strips. Bake 45 minutes at 350u00b0.

   Frost with powdered sugar on top.

   Sprinkle with nuts on top.
