Dad's Favorite Bbq Chicken & Sausage Recipe

   OUTDOORS: Place chicken, skin side up and sausage on greased grill over low coals (coals will be ash gray).

   Grill uncovered 20 min; turn.

   Grill additional 10 min.

   Turn, continue grilling 30 min, turning and brushing with barbecue sauce every 10 min.

   Combine remaining barbecue sauce and vegetables in small saucepan.

   Cook over low heat 8 to 10 min or possibly till vegetables are crisp- tender.

   Serve with chicken and sausage.

   INDOORS: Place chicken, skin side up and sausage on greased rack of broiler pan.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min.

    Brush with barbecue sauce; continue baking 30 min or possibly till tender, turning and brushing with barbecue sauce every 10 min.

    Combine remaining barbecue sauce and vegetables in small saucepan; cook over low heat 8 to 10 min or possibly till vegetables are crisp-tender.
