   Soften butter and knead until it whitens.

   Add sugar and mix well.

   Add egg yolk, milk, and vanilla extract and continue to mix.

   Sprinkle the dry ingredients and mix in a cut and fold motion.

   At a certain point, you can start mixing with a knead-like cut and fold motion.

   Form into a lump and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

   Use a rolling pin, etc to smash the candy into small pieces.
