Crusty Chocolate Chip Cookies

   Combine and sift all ingredients marked with a .

   Microwave the margarine for 40 seconds and transfer to a bowl.

   Add the white sugar and mix well.

   (The mixture can be slightly lumpy at this point.)

   Add the vegetable oil and mix well with a whisk until smooth.

   Add beaten eggs in 3 batches.

   Mix with each addition.

   Mix in the sifted dry ingredients.

   Using a rubber spatula, fold in the dough from the bottom of the bowl.

    Add the chocolate chips before the dough becomes completely smooth.

    Using a spoon, drop the cookie dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

    Arrange the cookies with decent space between them.

    Bake in a 160C preheated oven for 30 minutes.

    Let them cool on a rack to finish.

    You could also bake the remaining dough in a toaster oven.

    Bake at 1000 W for 5 minutes, flip them over, then bake for another 2 minutes.
