1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. margarine or butter
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine cereals, pretzels and nuts in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

Cook and stir together brown sugar, butter and syrup over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.

Let boil without stirring for 4 minutes.
