Crispy-Fried Hanpen Fishcake with Cheese

   Cut the cheese and the ham into 5 mm cubes.

   Grind the hanpen in a food processor or with a mortar and pestle, and transfer to a bowl.

   Add the egg and the katakuriko in that order.

   Mix well each time.

   Add Step 1 to the bowl and mix.

   Peel the potatoes.

   Grate them over the bowl and mix with the other ingredients.

   Heat vegetable oil in a pan.

   Spoon Step 4 into the pan.

    Fry them for 4-5 minutes over medium heat.

    When lightly browned, flip them.

    Fry the other side for 3-4 minutes as well, and turn off the heat.

    Serve on a plate.
