Creamy Mushroom Pasta with Bacon

   Cook pasta according to package directions.

   Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook bacon over medium low heat until browned and crisp.

   Remove bacon and reserve 1 tablespoon drippings in skillet.

   Add mushrooms and cook until tender.

   Remove and keep warm.

   Melt butter with drippings.

   Add flour, salt, and pepper.

   Whisk and cook 1 minute.

   Gradually add milk, whisking after each addition to ensure no lumps remain.

    Cook and stir 12 minutes until thickened.

    Add half-and-half, mushrooms and bacon.
