4 bouillon cubes
1 qt. half and half cream
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water (boiling)
1 c. butter
1 qt. water
8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. white pepper

Cook broccoli in 1/2 cup boiling water; do not drain.

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
