Cream Cheese Cookies

   Blend cream cheese and butter.

   Add flour and salt.

   Form dough in ball.

   Chill 3 to 4 hours.

   Mix preserves, nuts, peel and cornstarch.

   Divide dough in half.

   On lightly floured surface, roll each ball to 1/8-inch thick (10 x 12-inch rectangle).

   Cut into 2 1/2-inch squares.

   Place 1/2 teaspoon preserves mix in center of each square.

    Fold corners into middle and seal by pinching.

    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375u00b0 for 12 minutes. When cooled, dust with confectioners sugar.
