Cream Cheese Cookies

   Cream together butter, shortening & cream cheese.

   Add sugar, salt, vanilla and egg yolk, mix well.

   Gradually blend in flour and mix well.

   Use 1 teaspoonful of dough and make into a rounded ball then place on greased cookie sheet (or use parchment paper - works a lot better!

   Bake for about 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

   Remove from oven.

   Grease the bottom of a glass with butter and then dip into sugar - use this to flatten out cookies while they are still hot and leave sugar coating on top.
