In large bowl mix flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add oil, buttermilk, eggs and orange peel. Stir with wooden spoon just until blended. Stir in cranberries, chocolate chips and nuts.

Scrape into 2 greased and floured 8x4 loaf pans.

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 1 hour or until pick inserted is clean. Cool in pans on rack 10 minutes.

Run knife around edges to loosen. Remove from pans; turnright sides up immediately bursh tops with confectioners sugar mixture. cool completely on rack. Cut in 1/2 inch slices. Makes 2 loaves, 16 slices each.
