Cornmeal Muffins

   Sift cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together into mixing bowl.

   Stir in egg, milk and bacon drippings, mixing well.

   Fill 8 greased muffin cups 2/3 full with batter.

   Bake in a preheated 425u00b0 oven for 15 minutes or until browned.
