Crisco oil for frying
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. dairy sour cream
2 Tbsp. Crisco oil
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper

Combine all ingredients except Crisco oil for frying in medium mixing bowl.

Heat 2 to 3 inches Crisco oil in deep fryer or large saucepan to 350u00b0.

Fry, a few at a time, 5 to 6 minutes, or until deep golden brown.
