1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. maraschino cherries, chopped
2 c. shredded coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and shortening until fluffy, gradually adding sugar, beating well. Add eggs and extract; beat well.
