2 Tbsp. instant coffee
1/2 c. shortening

1 c. mashed bananas (3 fully ripe bananas)
1/2 c. broken walnut pieces

Mix and sift flour, baking powder, salt, instant coffee and sugar.

Bake in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 350u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
