Dissolve yeast in warm water; add sugar, salt shortening and stir until sugar and salt are dissolved.

Place in a a greased pan, covered with a cloth, for 1 hour over a pan of warm (not hot) water and let rise until double in bulk.

Knead down again.

Place over warm water again for about 30 minutes.

Roll dough to 1/8-inch to 1/4-inch thick on a slightly greased surface.

Spread with 2 tablespoons softened margarine, sprinkle with 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon mixed together.

Roll up and cut into desired thickness.

Place in a greased pan with brown sugar in the bottom. Let rise for about 45 minutes and bake at 350u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
