1 cup sugar

2 tablespoons milk
1 1/2 teaspoons almond flavoring
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

6 cups powdered sugar
2/3 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softened
1 tablespoon vanilla
4 to 6 tablespoons Land O Lakes Heavy Whipping Cream

Combine 1 cup butter and sugar in bowl; beat at medium speed until creamy.

Add egg, milk and almond flavoring; continue beating until well mixed.

Shape each half into ball; flatten slightly.

Wrap each in plastic food wrap; refrigerate at least 2 to 3 hours until firm.

Roll out dough on lightly floured surface, one-half at a time (keeping remaining dough refrigerated), to 1/8- to 1/4-inch thickness.

Cut with 3-inch round cookie cutter.

Place 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake 6-8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack.

Combine powdered sugar, 2/3 cup butter, vanilla and enough whipping cream for desired frosting consistency in bowl.

Beat at medium speed until well mixed.
