(8 squares each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate; Assorted candies (spearmint leaves, pastel mints, gum drops, round chocolate covered caramels, white chocolate candy wafers, peppermints, sugar decorator stars and circles, chocolate nonpareils); 1 pkg (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips; Small pretzel twists; 2 pkg. (8.75 oz.) square chocolate mint candies

MAKE RECIPE TWICE

Heat oven to 350F.

Place oven racks in center and bottom third of oven.

In large bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.

Beat butter in another large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy.

Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.

Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.

Gradually beat in flour mixture until well combined.

Blend in chocolate.

Divide dough in half.

Roll each half to 1/4-inch thickness between sheets of parchment or wax paper on a baking sheet.

Remove top pieces of parchment.

Bake on center and bottom racks for 20 minutes or until firm, changing position of baking sheets halfway through baking time.

While still warm, place house patterns on baked cookie dough, tracing and cutting with a small sharp knife.

If desired, cut out window openings and use a cookie cutter to cut out small trees from edges of baked dough.
