Roll dough into small/medium-sized balls. How large you go depends on whether you want more cookie or more candy in each bite. Roll balls in a plate of extra sugar, coating entirely. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 7 minutes. Remove from the oven and top each cookie with a chocolate star, pressing it in gently. Return cookies to the oven and bake for 2 to 3 more minutes.
