(1/2 of 225-g pkg.) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted; 30 foil-wrapped milk chocolate balls; 60 candy eyes (1 cm)

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup Kraft Smooth Peanut Butter
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup each packed brown sugar and granulated sugar
1 egg
4 oz. (1/2 of 225-g pkg.) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted
30 foil-wrapped milk chocolate balls
60 candy eyes (1 cm)

Heat oven to 375 degrees F.

Combine flour, cocoa powder and baking soda.

Beat peanut butter, butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.

Blend in egg.

Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition.

Drop tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, into 30 mounds on baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray.

Use rounded end of wooden spoon to make indentation in centre of each mound.

Bake 10 to 12 min.

Cool on baking sheet 3 min.

Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

Pour melted chocolate into resealable plastic bag.

Cut small piece off one bottom corner of bag.

Use to squeeze small amount of chocolate into indentation in each cookie; top with chocolate ball.

Use some of the remaining chocolate to attach candy eyes to chocolate balls for the spiders' eyes.

Starting at edge of each chocolate ball, use remaining chocolate to draw 8 lines to outside edge of each cookie for the spider's legs as shown in photo.
