In a small saucepan, combine milk, chocolate, 4 tbsp butter and half the cocoa powder. Stir over low heat until smooth. Combine flour, ground hazelnuts, granulated sugar and 1/2 the brown sugar. Add chocolate mixture and egg and stir until combined. Distribute between prepared ramekins.

Combine remaining butter, brown sugar and cocoa powder in a small saucepan over low heat and stir until smooth. Distribute between ramekins then bake, uncovered, for 25 mins.

Meanwhile, to make the chocolate hazelnut sauce, combine heavy cream and brown sugar in small saucepan. Bring to a boil then remove from heat. Add chocolate and stir until smooth. Add nutella and liqueur. Stir until smooth.

To serve, top lava cakes with ice cream and chocolate hazelnut sauce.
