2 tsp. boiling water
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. real butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Melt 1/2 cup chocolate chips.

Dissolve instant coffee in boiling water.

In a bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl combine butter, sugar and coffee. Beat with wooden spoon until creamy.

Add egg and melted morsels; mix well.

Gradually add flour mixture and mix well.

Stir in remaining chocolate morsels.

Add walnuts and vanilla.

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
