Ingredients: 2 c. sugar; 2 c. flour; 1 stick margarine; 5 Tbsp. cocoa; 1/2 c. shortening; 1 c. water; 2 eggs; 1 c. buttermilk; 1 tsp. baking soda; 1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar and flour; set aside.

In saucepan, combine margarine, cocoa and shortening.

Bring to a boil.

Remove from heat.

Add water, eggs, buttermilk, baking soda and vanilla to sugar and flour mixture and mix well.

Blend in chocolate mixture and pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

Bake at 400u00b0 for 30 minutes.
