Chocolate Bread Pudding

   Remove crust from bread and place on bottom of well-buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Blend together eggs, milk, chocolate syrup and water; pour over bread.

   Push bread down slightly to soak up chocolate mixture.

   Let stand at room temperature for 20 minutes, pushing bread down in mixture occasionally.

   Bake in preheated 350u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.

   Serve warm or chilled and top with whipped cream or ice cream.
