In a medium saucepan combine cream, sugar and vanilla pod. Stir over medium heat until boiling point is reached (do not boil). Remove vanilla pod.

Dissolve gelatin by sprinkling over a 1/4 cup of boiling water and whisking vigorously with a fork. Cool slightly. Whisk gelatin into cream mixture and then stir the yogurt through until smooth. Strain through a fine sieve into a large pitcher.

Pour three-quarters of the mixture evenly between 6 (1/2 cup) molds. Chill for 15-20 mins until almost set, testing surface with fingertip.

Stir chocolate through remaining mixture. Pour into molds to fill. Chill for at least 2 hours until set. Turn onto serving plates and serve with strawberries and almond cookies.
