Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

If cooking chicken through, boil 4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts in sated water until no longer pink. Cool and dice.

In a mixing bowl, combine: cream cheese, chicken, onion, salt, pepper, butter, and milk. Stir together.

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Removed crescent rolls in pairs and flatten together into a square. Repeat for both cans of rolls.

Scoop about 1/3 cup of the mixture onto the center of each crescent square, and bring corners up pinching together in the center to form a pocket/puff.

Brush each puff with melted butter and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
