2 slices bacon, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
3 tablespoons oil
8 chicken drumsticks
2 cups water
2 chicken stock cubes
240 g tomato paste
2 -3 fresh rosemary sprigs or 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
2 cups frozen broad beans
salt & pepper

Heat 1 tblsp of the oil and saute the bacon & chopped vegetables for approx 5 mins, spoon into a large pot.

Add the remaining oil to the pan & lightly brown the drumsticks, then add these to the pot, stir in remaining ingredients.

Bring to the Boil, cover & simmer for 1 hour.
