6 slices white bread
2 c. cooked chicken
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 tsp.salt
pepper to taste
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. grated cheese

Cube 2 slices of bread. Put into a 2-quart dish.

Mix chicken, onion, celery, mayonnaise and green pepper.

Spoon over bread. Trim crusts from the remaining 4 slices of bread.

Place on top of chicken.

Beat eggs; add milk and seasonings.

Pour over bread. Cover and chill overnight.

Spoon soup over casserole in morning. Bake at 325u00b0 uncovered for 1 hour.
