Chewy Oatmeal Bars

   Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

   Cream butter with both sugars.

   Beat egg, vanilla, and peanut butter into the butter mixture.

   In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, & oats.

   Combine the flour mixture with the butter mixture.

   Stir in chocolate chips, pecans, and dates.

   Bake in a greased 13 x 9 in pan for 30 minutes.
