Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in the granulated sugar and place them onto a parchment paper or lightly greased baking sheet, leaving some space between each since they will spread and crack. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until cracks appear in the tops of the cookies. Remove them from the oven and cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
