¼ cup peanut butter
⅔ cup dark brown sugar
⅜ cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 ⅔ cups quick-cooking oats
½ cup peanuts, dry roasted
½ cup Rice Krispies
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup peanut butter

Preheat oven to 350 deg.

Spray a 9 X 9 inch baking dish.

In a 2 quart saucepan, melt butter.

Add the peanut butter, brown sugar, corn syrup.

Combine over med.

heat until just starting to simmer.

Remove from heat.

Stir in vanilla.

Add oats, peanuts and Rice Krispies.

Pour into prepared pan and pat evenly with spatula.

Bake in the oven for 16 minutes.

Turn oven off and let sit in the oven for 3 minutes.

Remove from oven and let cool.

While that is cooling (in same saucepan), melt chocolate chips and peanut butter.

Once smooth and combined, spread over the top of the cooled crust.

Let cool completely or refrigerated before cutting into 16 servings.
