1 pound Ground Beef
3 cups Warm Milk
6 Tablespoons Butter
6 Tablespoons Flour
3 cups Mild Cheddar Cheese, Grated
1/2 teaspoons Salt
1/4 teaspoons Pepper
1 cup French Fried Onions
32 ounces, weight Bag Of Tater Tots

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Place diced onion and ground beef into a skillet and cook over medium heat until beef is thoroughly cooked.

Drain excess grease from skillet and set aside.

Warm the milk in a saucepan over medium low heat or in the microwave.

You dont want to boil it, just get it hot.

Heat in the microwave for 60 seconds then for additional 30 seconds as needed.

Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat.Once the butter is melted, add flour and mix constantly for 2 minutes.

Add warm milk into the saucepan.

Using a whisk, stir milk and butter/flour mixture together until sauce slightly thickens (3 to 4 minutes).

Remove from heat and add grated cheese, salt and pepper.

In a large bowl, combine beef and onions, cheese sauce, french fried onions and frozen tater tots.

Lightly spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick cooking spray and pour contents of bowl into pan.

Bake for 45 minutes to an hour until casserole starts to become bubbly.
