Cheesy Sausage RoundUps

   In a medium-sized frying pan, cook sausage over medium heat until browned.

   Drain grease.

   Add minced peppers.

   Cook until peppers are soft but not squishy, around 5 minutes.

   Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool.

   Preheat oven to 400 F. In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, flour, salt, and pepper.

   Beat with a mixer on medium low speed until combined.

   Add the shredded cheese and stir well.

   Add cooled sausage mixture and stir until well blended.

    Form dough into 1 inch balls and place them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet 2 inches apart.

    Bake in a 400 F oven for 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown.

    I usually do this in two batches which makes the total cooking time 30-40 minutes.

    Serve warm or cold.
