4 sliced white bread (without crusts)
4 Tbsp. butter
2 c. grated Swiss or Cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp. flour
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
ham bits or bacon bits
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
parsley

Butter bread with 2 tablespoons butter, place upside down in 8 x 8-inch glass baking dish.
