Cheese Snaps(Makes About 36)

   Blend cheese and butter together; work in flour, cayenne and salt.

   Place dough in waxed paper and press gently together.

   Roll dough 1/8-inch thick on lightly floured board.

   Cut into 2-inch squares.

   Stuff each date with a piece of walnut and place in center of square.

   Press dough tightly around date in palm of hand.

   Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

   Bake in a hot oven, 400u00b0, for about 12 to 15 minutes or until delicately browned. Cool.

   Dust with confectioners sugar.

    Serve with a salad or as a cookie.
