Cheater CHILI

   Brown hamburger in a 6 qt.

   pan.

   Dice and add onions while hamburger is browning.

   Add cans of tomato sauce and stewed tomatoes followed by 2 cans of water.

   Then add the seasoning packets of salt, chili powder, and cayenne, but reserve the packet of masa for later.

   Open, drain, and add all 4 cans of pinto beans last and stir.

   Add the 1/2 teaspoon of cumin now.

   Transfer chili to crockpot to simmer for 2 and 1/2 hours.

   At the end of that time, if chili is not thick enough for your taste, add masa and stir.

    I do not use the masa.

    I prefer a thinner chili.

    Garnish with grated cheese or fritos or serve with cornbread.
